Broadbeam ExpressQ 4.5 Delivers Improved Performance and Usability and support for Additional Device Clients and Server Operating Systems . DUBLIN, Ireland - 30 July 2009 - Broadbeam (a MobileAware Company), the world's leading provider of specialized mobility solutions enabling customers to extend business applications to their mobile workforce, today announced the latest release of its ExpressQ product. ExpressQ 4.5 provides improved performance, support for the latest client and server operating systems, enhanced configuration options and a better user experience through improved documentation and user interface. The release is in direct response to customer requirements and has already been delivered to strategic partners for integration into a number of UK public sector customer deployments. "Continuing to boost the performance and usability of our products is critical to our customers' success," commented Todd Shingler, CEO of Broadbeam's parent company MobileAware Ltd. "This latest release of ExpressQ demonstrates our ongoing commitment to helping customers gain even more of an edge from their mobile enterprise deployments." ExpressQ is a client-server software product that overcomes issues related to occasionally-disconnected wireless environments by using store-and-forward messaging (message queuing) and database synchronization over a variety of wireless networks, allowing users to remain productive in the face of coverage gaps, broken connections and network congestion. Wireless messages are temporarily stored for out-of-coverage users and then forwarded when users return to in-coverage areas. ExpressQ also supports real-time interactive communication when both sides are connected. Full specifications for ExpressQ can be found on our website at http://www.broadbeam.com/expressq.jsp.
