Portal Integration
Portals are built around portal frameworks which act as dynamic, personalized containers for self-contained functional units known as portlets.
Mobile Interaction Server has been achitected to extend and fully reuse the capabilities of underlying portal frameworks, ensuring that existing portal framework functionality (such as the design of portal and page layouts, site look and feel, Webflow and navigation) is fully leveraged.
Due to the lightweight nature of the integration, the existing portal is mobilized simply by adding mobilily mark-up to the portal framework. By adding mobility mark-up to the portal framework, developers can create portals and portlets with standard development toolsets and have the portal framework automatically deliver mobilized content and applications to a variety of mobile devices.
